Dr. Giguere earned his M.D. from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He completed his internship and residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. He was also a visiting fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center at the University of Washington. Dr. Giguere is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology.

 

After completing military service in the United States Air Force, he came to Greenville in 1990 and has been practicing with Cancer Centers of the Carolinas since that time. He and his wife, Nancy, have four children.
