Dr. Walls earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his internship and residency at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He then completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Dr. Walls is Board Certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. He has been with Cancer Centers of the Carolinas since 1994.
