Institute for Translational Oncology Research (ITOR)

The Institute for Translational Oncology Research (ITOR) of Greenville Hospital System advances cancer care through a focus on translational research and personalized medicine that leads to groundbreaking treatments.

ITOR brings together comprehensive and complementary cancer care services, technologies and facilities under one umbrella.  It includes a phase I Clinical Research Unit, a biorepository Services platform and proteomics and genomics capabilities.  ITOR collaborates with its partners to develop drugs effectively and efficiently so that breakthrough treatments can be made available to patients throughout the country at an accelerated pace.  

As the dedicated scientists and clinicians of ITOR go about the work of translational research, they give patients with limited options new hope.
