Cloys has more than 26 years of nursing experience. She received her Registered Nursing Degree from Queen Elizabeth College of Nursing in Birmingham, England. She later pursued a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and Adult Heath Nurse Practitioner Masters Degree from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas.

She is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nurses Society and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Cloys has been with Cancer Centers of the Carolinas since 2005.
