| Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Delaware. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina where she completed her Master of Science in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Throughout her career, Lisa has held a variety of clinical positions in medical and surgical oncology as well as home health and hospice. She has been an oncology-certified nurse through the Oncology Nursing Society since 1994, and she is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Upstate Nurse Practitioner Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing. She also serves on the Upstate Leadership Council for the American Cancer Society and speaks to various community groups on cancer prevention and symptom management. |
