CCC welcomes new medical oncologist, Saeeda Z. Chowdhury, M.D.

Monday, December 07, 2009 - Cancer Centers of the Carolinas (CCC) is pleased to announce the addition of Saeeda Z. Chowdhury, M.D. to the practice. Dr. Chowdhury is a medical oncologist. She will practice at Cancer Centers of the Carolinas’ Eastside Office (65 International Drive, Greenville) and Easley Office (109 Fleetwood Drive, Suite A, Easley).

Dr. Chowdhury received her medical degree from Dhaka Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she also completed her internship. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, the teaching affiliate for the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT.

After completing her residency at Yale, Dr. Chowdhury practiced medicine as an internist for nine years. She then returned to the Yale University School of Medicine to pursue a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology.

Dr. Chowdhury is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She is Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
