Cancer Centers of the Carolinas' Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Smith, MSN, FNP, AOCN, participated in developing a poster presentation that was presented at the 11th International Myeloma Workshop in Kos, Greece. Lisa is a member of the Nurse Leadership Board (NLB), of the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF). The poster is entitled, "Nurse Guidelines for Enhanced Patient Care." The guidelines in this poster represent specific protocols and procedures nurses can use to help myeloma patients optimize their treatments, manage side effects and receive the support they need.
