The Dragon Boat Upstate Festival is a Saturday celebration dedicated to fundraising for the Cancer Center of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center and other local cancer non-profit organizations through the racing of beautiful Dragon Boats, with teams from area churches, businesses, civic groups, neighborhoods and other organizations.

 

Why is the Dragon Boat Upstate Festival Important?

  • It is an exciting festival in the Greenville Upstate area as well as a fun event that adults can try no matter what their age or their fitness level.
  • It allows the community to raise funds to fight cancer.
  • It builds a support network for all community members especially those fighting cancer, surviving cancer or having lost a loved one to cancer.
  • It provides a quality fundraising event in an atmosphere with entertainment, a tent competition, and other activities.
