Julie C. Martin, RN, MS, FNP - Nurse Practitioner
Martin received her BS in nursing from the University of South Carolina. She completed her training as a Family Nurse Practitioner and received her Master of Science degree from Clemson University. She has more than 23 years experience in oncology nursing in inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition, Martin has an extensive research background, having been actively involved in clinical trials through the National Cancer Institute and various pharmaceutical companies. She previously served as Manager of Nursing Services and Manager of Clinical Research for the Greenville Community Clinical Oncology Program.
Most recently, Martin has taken the role of Associate Director of the Phase I Clinical Research Unit. Serving as a sub-investigator, she assists with design and implementation of Phase 1 and Biosafety Level 2 clinical research protocols, review and interpretation of clinical data and the overall drug development process.
Martin is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing.
